6 new pics below

Hi everyone, I hope everyones doing as well as I am. Even though I am cold now, I feel warmer outside than inside, but thats really no big deal. I rather enjoy the cold :)

So I spent my day exploring so far, walked down to cork city centre, enjoying the sights and I also bought a irish sim card for my phone, from tesco! I didnt find English market yet, o well, will have to try some other day :)

Please turn your head sideways for this picture! right outside the door of the bnb

The university, really big place!

And here is the sign.. cause its pretty, you also get to see the sky, your welcome

I liked the gate up there, so i took a picture of it, its hard to get the great atmosphere of the place in pictures, it cant be explained.. its like, charming as hell!

Some of the shops

Well ok, thats cork airport.. i was waiting there like 10 minutes yesterday and thought to myself "im sure everyone wants to see one of these"

Good rainy morning

Hi everyone, just had my first Irish breakfast. It was great by the way, egg, sausages, lots of coffee, juice, bacon, toast. Now I am ready to go explore, well.. soon anyway!

Its been a long day

I know there is one thing everyone has been dying to ask, and yes, it did rain as I arrived here in Ireland. Happy now?? However, it wasnt as many green items displayed randomly as I had hoped.. oh well :)

But the irish kindness was well displayed right from the start!
I was met with the friendliest cab driver ever, he started talking and he didnt end until we said farwell. He couldnt find the bed and breakfast at first, called Mariaville house btw, as we drove around town we came to a stop by a rather big home called "Mariaville" in a nice big carved sign, so obviously, we had arrived? I payed the man his 15 euro for his 10 minute drive, then he helped me with my luggage, took me to the door and waited for the person to answer (not quietly). The person didnt show up unfortunately, it turned out it was the wrong Mariaville, how many could there be?? So, we kept on driving, for another 5 mins or so till we found it, he refused to take any further payment, and apologized!

Ah well, what waits for me tomorrow? The friendly cabbie told me that most shops open at around 13:00, my breakfast is at around 9am - 10 am, ill keep you guys posted!

I dont have time to write this

But it is getting very close to take-off time. 18:50 to be exact. It will put me in Cork at around midnight, there is a layover time in London, fun stuff! I know you envy me for my long day of flying, but after traveling from the US to Sweden with everything I owned (the last time I had a long flight), this feels like its going to be real real simple. Ohhhhh... so That's what all our horrible experiences are for, to make every other experience seem nice and cool!

How about a sneak preview?

Of Cork that is.

Since I didn't have the financial possibility of visiting Ireland ahead of me moving there I have been watching countless of you-tube videos to get a feel for the place, its not working! It doesn't matter though, in 2 days I will arrive in Cork myself, I will be staying at a Bed and breakfast called Marie Ville house.

Hi everyone, three days till Ireland

So today its the 25th of January, my plane ticket is booked for the 28th of January, crazy to think that I will soon be leaving alone! To a country where I know no one, its scary but I am also excited. I will start working for ATOS which I wont write much about, mostly because I am sure my future employer wont be excited about me writing about them, they usually don't. :) But either way, I am really excited, even though it doesn't feel very real.

I write in English because my husband and others may not know Swedish, but all the Swedes I know including my family are excellent at reading/speaking english, even if some of them are too modest to admit it.

So I havnt packed yet, but what last minute person would pack three days in advance?? Thats what I thought! I do have my passport though, and a shiny new bankcard, totally prepared. :)

I hope you will follow my journey, if not, this will be my very private diary in english! win/win
